The Multi RS Solar 48/6000/100-450/100 is a 48V, 6kVA hybrid inverter/charger with a 450V dual-tracker MPPT solar input, built for home and business battery systems needing combined inverter, charger and solar charging in one unit.
Core Capabilities & Features
1. Hybrid, Backup and Off-Grid Operation
The Multi RS Solar stores excess solar energy for later use, switches to backup power during grid outages, and operates independently off-grid. In generator mode it controls run-hours and supplements generator output from the battery when demand peaks.
2. PowerControl and PowerAssist
Set a maximum grid or generator current and the unit manages other AC loads, using spare capacity for battery charging. PowerAssist adds battery power to cover short peak demands beyond generator or grid capacity.
3. Expandable Solar Capacity
The integrated 6kW PV capacity can be extended with additional solar chargers (DC-coupled) or PV inverters (AC-coupled), with output automatically controlled by frequency shift power control.
4. Monitoring and Communication
Check battery, inverter and solar parameters on the built-in display or via Bluetooth and the VictronConnect app. VE.Can connects to a GX device for system monitoring and firmware updates, while VE.Direct links to a GlobalLink 520 for remote data.
